Catching up to last night’s entry, we are up at some 10,000 feet, above Cascade Valley and looking out at the alleged, Devil’s Peak.
No water around, except probably another twenty yards ahead.
We mad a fire, a wonderful fire and ate some great freeze-dried.
No noise up here that does not belong, except for the occasional plane passing overhead, it’s passengers oblivious to the solitude below.
Looking out on so many mountains––where is the next mystery pass? We’ve only got one real pass, of any stature to our names, so far––Donahue––the rest were jokes.
